Monadnock Voices for Prevention RFP information

Monadnock Voices for Prevention (MVP) is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals that promote regional collaboration and implement effective, and/or evidence based strategies that reduce alcohol use and abuse in 12 - 25 year olds. Through the Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant, Monadnock Voices for Prevention will be awarding up to 85,000.00 in the Monadnock Region. Projects must focus on reducing consumption and consequences of alcohol use by addressing social norms, social access and availability, and/or enforcement. Applications are encouraged from coalitions, neighborhood associations, youth and parent groups, law enforcement, businesses, service providers, schools, the faith community, civic organizations, local government, afterschool, and/or any community organization located in Antrim, Bennington, Chesterfield, Dublin, Fitzwilliam, Francestown, Gilsum, Greenfield, Greenville, Hancock, Harrisville, Hinsdale, Jaffrey, Keene, Marlborough, Marlow, Mason, Nelson, New Ipswich, Peterborough, Richmond, Rindge, Roxbury, Sharon, Stoddard, Sullivan, Surry, Swanzey, Temple, Troy, Westmoreland, and Winchester. The deadline for application is March 5, 2010.

A reminder that responses to the Request for Proposals for reducing underage and binge drinking in 12-25 year olds in the Monadnock Region, are due in the Monadnock Voices for Prevention office by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010.

Hand deliveries should be brought to the front desk receptionist who will date and time stamp the arrival. Please do not leave your submission on an unattended desk. Please request a confirm receipt for fax and email submissions. Mailed proposals should be sent via registered mail, or have a confirmation of delivery. Monadnock Voices for Prevention cannot be responsible for proposals that are lost and/or not received prior to the deadline.
