Healing from Tragedy: A Community Conversation for ALL of Us
Keene Family YMCA Community Impact Event
We are living in unprecedented times. There is a convergence of social issues and a public cry for change. The anger energizes these efforts, but it also serves to divide us. We must find ways to heal ourselves and each other so can move towards connecting again - as fellow community members.
The event will include presentations about individual and collective trauma (i.e. Parkland, Opiate Epidemic, Las Vegas, #metoo, etc) told through stories, poetry, and music. Participants will engage in dialogue and practices to bridge the gap of connection between opposing viewpoints and generations. We will try to come together - as one community - for one purpose - to contribute the collective healing of all of us.
Please join us for a unique community event led by the voices of the emerging generation. This event will be facilitated by Emily Daniels of Here This Now.
